Explore molecules and reactionsInspect interactive 2D depictions and 3D molecular views, identifiers, calculated properties, and reaction participants. Work with Molfile, SDF, RGfile, SMILES, CXSMILES, Reaction SMILES, RInChI, InChI, MOL2, PDB, XYZ, CML, RXN, and RDF.

Draw, translate, and exportDraw structures in the chemical editor or edit chemistry source. Convert IUPAC names to structures on-device. Export depictions as SVG, PNG, or PDF. On Mac, the structure editor has a movable, resizable window with wrapping toolbar groups.

Find and organize chemistryKeep molecules and reactions in the Managed Repository with preview cards, text search, filters, tags, and favorites. Search by similarity or substructure and split multi-record files into individual documents. On Mac, discover local chemistry files with Spotlight-backed browsing and preview supported files with Finder Quick Look.

Discover with PubChemSearch PubChem by name, compound identifier, formula, or other supported chemical input, then preview and import individual SDF structures with their molecule names. PubChem searches require an internet connection.

Scan chemistry in PDFsFind chemical names and printed structure drawings, follow highlighted source locations, and open recognized structures. Text extraction, optional OCR, IUPAC conversion, and drawing recognition run on-device with bundled models. Review recognized chemistry against the original document before using it.

Local storage and optional iCloudWork locally or enable iCloud synchronization for repository files and managed metadata. Status indicators distinguish local saves and pending uploads from confirmed uploads. Bundled ChEBI structures, Rhea-derived reactions, and curated examples help you get started. No AtomLens account is required.

Requires macOS 26 or later on an Apple silicon Mac. The included iPad app requires iPadOS 26 or later. Chemistry processing and PDF scanning run on-device; optional PubChem and iCloud features use network services.
